Luke Foddy is a Communications Associate with the Nature Crime Alliance, based in the WRI London office. In this role, Luke will work with a small, growing team that aims to end nature crime.  His task is to help create and implement a full communications and engagement strategy that establishes the Alliance as a credible, effective convener and catalyzer.

Luke has more than 12 years’ experience across PR, marketing and journalism. Before joining WRI, Luke served as Head of Communications at Asia House where he executed the think tank’s PR and marketing strategy, engaging with international media on issues including global trade, sustainability and COP26. He previously worked in press offices for two universities, and has written articles for the BBC, regional newspapers and magazines.

He has a BA in History and an MA in Medieval Studies from the University of Liverpool. In his spare time, Luke will usually be found in an archive researching medieval history or enjoying the great outdoors.
